This test can be done directly on the miroogranism, but we will do it on a slide

The test is simple:
Treat sample with hydrogen peroxide
If sample produces gas (i.e. it bubbles), it makes catalase

The test is simple:
Treat the filter paper with p-aminodimethylaniline oxidase reagent
Spread sample on the treated paper
If sample turns purple, it produces oxidase
