Insertion: Proximal end of 5th metacarpal

Insertion: Three of four digits
Action: Extends the digits

Origin: Humerus
Insertion: 2nd and 3rd metacarpals
Action: Extends hand
Flexor carpi radialis
Origin: Medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion: 2nd and 3rd metacarpals
Action: Flexes hand
Pronator teres
Origin: Medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion: Radius
Action: Rotates radius to prone position
Palmaris longus
Origin: Medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion: Pads of palm and phalanges
Action: Flexes digits
Flexor profundum digitorum
Origin: Ulna and humerus
Insertion: Basal phalanges
Action: General flexing of fingers
Flexor carpi ulnaris
Origin: Medial epicondyle of humerus (medial head), Olecranon process of ulna (ulnar head)
Insertion: Pisiform bone of wrist
Action: Flexes ulnar side of wrist
Branchioradialis
Origin: Middle of humerus
Insertion: Lower end of radius and adjacent ligaments
Action: Rotates hand to supine position
