Allows us to:
-Work Whnever we have access to a computer
-Communcate more effectively with employees and customers
-perform tasks that are too difficult for humans to do
Blurs the lines between work time and private time
ICt allows us to do thngs more quickly and with less manpower

Constant upgrading of skills, hardware and software
ICT workers replace large amounts of staff
ICT workers work longer hours

How are some laptops more powerful than desktops?
They have the same processing power, storage and memory
but they are more expensive because of he extra engineering needed to make them

Name settings which can save power on a computer?
-use the sleep or hiberante setting
-Setting brightness of the screen to save power
-choosing a balance between power consumption and performance
What does sleep mode do ?
cuts power to almost all components except for the RAM
What does hibernating do
Hibernating stores contents of RAM to the hard drive and switches off completely
