Reasonably oriental appearance, large ears wide at base, wavy short hair, oval shaped eyes. Bran bath will help remove grease from coat. Heathy breed and females make good mothers. Shaggy coat considered serious flaw. Should not be exposed to prolonged periods of extreme weather.

Pixie like ears help distinguish from Cornish Rex. Coat less wavy than Cornish, contains primary and secondary guard hairs. Waves tail from side to side when content, most cats this is a sign of disapproval. Kittens do not develop full coat until 18 months

Very large cat (males weight up to 18 lbs), tough, hardy, with a dense rugged coat which is longer on the back and legs. Wedge shaped head appears small relative to body. Mature males have larger jowls which provide extra width on head. Large prominent ears tipped with tufts of hair. They are muscular and broad chested with powerful legs.

No trace of tail, just hollow where tail would normally start. Long lived cats that show few signs of aging. Tend to have unusual hopping walk: is deemed a fault except in the kitten. Important to check that anal opening is properly formed in newborn kittens.

All siamese a born pure white, darker shade of points become apparent gradually and full contrast not apparent until 1 yr old. Temperature of environment has direct influence on pigmentation. Warm surroundings result in paler coloration of points. Fine muzzle, longer rear legs than front legs, eyes slant towards the nose.
