unilateral mistake so contract was void.

spousal monthly payments during marriage continuation post divorce to be legally enforced
not legally enforceable as it was a domestic agreement

dress allowance promise prior to marriage be paid after marriage
not inferred that legally enforceable relations were intended
Merritt v Merritt
cheating husband refused to give house dead to wife after she paid off the rest of the house
agreement legally enforceable as this was not a domestic agreement since there was no longer goodwill
Price v Easton
Easton made a promise with the builder to pay Price. Easton did not pay, so Price wants to sue Easton for the promise made between Easton and price
Price could not enforce the promise as her was not a party to the agreement
Coulls v Bagot’s Executor & Trustee Co Ltd
A deal made between a man and company still enforceable to wife after death.
Since the wife did not give consideration, it wasn’t enforceable as she wasn’t a party to the agreement.

Gov says they will give subsidy time to time for product transfer and does it but then stop, so do they have to continue w/subsidy.
The government did not make a promise to pay subsidy.
