Q

What was the results of the 2013 coastline report?

A

The coast is mostly accreting, 36% erosion, 14% stable.
Most accretion occurs in the North near deltas.
Most erosion occurs in the South, coastal defenses have interfered with natural processes increasing rates of erosion.
Bhadrak has dense mangrove forests where accretion rates are 50% higher.
