An auditory learner learns best by listening such as reading notes out loud and using music to memorize

A tactile learner learns best by using their hands such as making a model of what they learned or acting out the information

- Elimination- get rid of it
- Substitution- replace the problem
- Engineering- altering or changing the problem
- Administrative- warning signs restricted areas
- Personal protection equipment - using proper equipment
Hazard prevention
- The source - most effective location to control the hazard
- Along the path- the next most effective control along the path the hazard takes
- At the worker- if in contact with the hazard they must be protected properly
The steps to hazard control
- Identify the hazard
- Asses the risk
- Choose best control
- Implement the control
- Evaluate effectiveness if controlled
