What is certification?
Proof of study or skill and experience.
What is class rank?
Your GPA in order from top to bottom as compared to your classmates.
What are clubs?
Activities available at school with people who share common interests.
What is a college?
A 2 year or 4 year degree granting school.
What is community service?
A volunteer opportunity to help others.
What is a curriculum guide?
The available course of study from which classes and diploma choices are selected.
What is a Doctoral Degree?
More than 6 years of study; granted by universities only.
What is dual credit?
A course that counts for high school and college credit.
What is an elective?
Course that you choose within your career pathway to complete your diploma requirements.

Teams or clubs beyond the school curriculum; must be passing 5 classes to participate.

Scholarships, grants, work-study, or loans that help you pay for classes, housing, books, etc.
What is the GI Bill?
Military service leads to government repayment of your education loans.
What does GPA stand for?
Grade point average; on 4 point scale; determines class rank, honor roll, scholarship eligibility, etc.

An enjoyable pastime that may or may not be related to a future career pathway.
What is an internship?
Unpaid or paid job experience.

Following a professional for a day.
