F: 38-46%
M: 40-54%

High hematocrit (65% or above)

Blood plasma without clotting proteins
Complete blood count
Total RBC, WBC, platelet, differential WBC, hematocrit, and hemoglobin concentration
Megakaryocytes
Form platelets

Viral infection, some luekemias
Cause: prolonged illness, immunosuppression, treatment with cortisol
Monocytes
Viral or fungal infection, tuberculosis, some leukemia, other chronic des ease.
Cause: bone marrow depression
Eosinophil
Allergic reactions, parasitic infections, autoimmune disease
Cause: drug toxicity, stress
