pulmonary fibrosis, arthritis, asbestos. Hodgkins, TOF
Most freq cause of jugular venous distention:
R sided HF
How is peripheral edema assessed?
Grade 1-4
Grade 1:
2mm or less, no visible distortion, disappears rapidly
Grade 2:
2-4mm, no readily detectable distortion, 10-25s
Grade 3:
4-6mm, 2-5m, looks swollen
