Sx: generally Asx. fatigue, epistaxis, nervousness
EARLY SIGN: S4, bell @ apex
EMERGENCY if
- diastolic > 120
- CNS abns
- chest pain
- dyspnea
- retinopathy
- JVD
- lung crackles

PE - peripheral pulses, fundoscopic exam, auscultate for bruits (aortic, abdominal), full cardio-pulmonary exam, neuro exam, palpate abdomen
Imaging: Stress EKG, AP CXR (cardiomyopathy)
