1st line treatment for HF with reduced ejection fraction?
A
ACEi / ARB + a beta blocker
If still symptomatic can add in Spironolactone / Epleronone ( mineralocorticoid antagonists)
Calcium channel blockers to be avoided in HF
Thiazide diuretics not routinely recommended in long term Mx of HF
Loop diuretic can be added for symptom
Relief but will not improve prognosis
