ST segment elevation myocardial infarction
- symptoms —> dyspnoea
—> chest pain
—> sweating
- ECG —> elevated ST
- angiogram —> arterial blockage
- bloods —> troponin + BNP

What is atrial fibrillation?

A

Irregular atrial contraction
- symptoms —> dyspnoea
—> chest pain
—> palpitations
- ECG —> lose P wave
- TTE (transthoracic echocardiogram) —> atrial mass
- bloods —> fibrinogen + D-dimer

What is asthma?

A

Inflammed bronchial airways
- symptoms —> dyspnoea
—> cough
- peak flow —> dec
- spirometer —> low FEV1/FVC (obstructive)
- allergy test —> allergic reaction

What is aortic stenosis?

A

Aortic valve narrows
- symptoms —> exertional dyspnoea
—> chest pain
- ECG —> larger QRS (left ventricular hypertrophy)
- ECHO (US) —> impaired valves
- heart sounds —> irregular
