A patient who has just taken a beta blocker overdose has a HR of 35bpm ad BP 70/40mmHg, with glucose 4.1mmol/L. How do you treat?
A
IV fluid bolus, and commence 0.5mg IV atropine up to 6 doses. Following this, instigate IV glucagon

What is the 1st line treatment of hypertension in a patient w Hx of angina?
A
Verapamil. It has an inotropic effect (slows heart rate/ rate-limiting effect) and acts also as an anti-anginal.
