  • HF -> Increased venous pressure
  • Renal/liver failure -> decreased osmotic pressure
  • Cancer, DVT -> blocked lymphatics
  • Infection, sepsis -> increased capillary permeability
  • Drugs - dihydropyridines, steroids, NSAIDs

A

  • ↑ triglycerides
  • ↓ HDL
