Q

Meralgia parestehtica

A
  • when the lateral femoral cutaneous N is compressed by the inguinal ligament
  • sensory loss of the anterolateral thigh down to the knee.
  • is a hip flexion dysfunction so do hip extension
21
Q

Common fibular nerve compression

A
  • Pain on the proximal third of the lower leg with foot drop
  • Associated with posterior fibular head.
  • ME to posterior fibular head.
  • happens in ankle sprain
22
Q

Anterior tarsal tunnel syndrom

A

deep fibular nerve compression by the inferior extensor retinaculum

  • pain at the dorsomedial aspect of the foot
  • weakness of the extensor digitorum brevis
  • Do MFR
23
Q

Tarsal tunnel syndrome

A

Compression of the tibial nerve behind the tarsal tunnel with the flexor retinaclum

  • will get most and sensory loss tot ht planter aspect of the foot.
  • do MFR
