Clinic reading blood pressure (2 times if >140/90)
If >140/90 Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring or home blood pressure monitoring (to reduce white coat hypertension readings)

Aortic dissection
A
CT angiogram of chest, abdo and pelvis
CXR - widened mediastinum
Transoesophegal echo (TOE) if pt are too risk for CT i.e. Haemodynamically unstable

Infective endocarditis
A
3 sets of blood cultures 30 minutes apart
TOE afterwards or if inconclusive

Wells score >4 - CTPA
Wells score <4 D dimer
