Rocuronium adult > 80 kg
100 mg, repeat as required
Rocuronium duration
30 - 60 mins
Sedation post cardiac arrest with signs of shock
ketamine/fentanyl
Ketamine/fentanyl post intubation sedation drawing up
200 mcg fentanyl, 200 mg ketamine in 20 ml syringe
Ketamine/fentanyl post intubation sedation administration ADULT
5 ml every 15 - 30 mins (50mcg/50mg)
Sedation post cardiac arrest no signs of shock
fentanyl/midazolam
Midazolam/fentanyl post intubation sedation drawing up
10 mg midazolam, 100 mcg fentanyl in 10 ml syringe
Midazolam/fentanyl post intubation sedation administration ADULT
1 - 2 ml every 5 - 15 mins (1-2 mg midazolam/10-20 mcg fentanyl)

Metaraminol for adult
0.5 - 1 mg every 5-10 mins

10 mg/10 ml
Adrenaline administration adult post intubation
Administer 2 drops per second, adjust rate as required (2 ml/min or 2 mcg/min), solution 1 mcg/ml, giving set - 60 drops /ml
Adrenaline administration (NOT cardiac arrest) child aged 5-14 years post intubation
Administer 1 drop per second, adjust rate as required (1 ml/min or 1 mcg/min), solution 1 mcg/ml, giving set - 60 drops /ml
Adrenaline administration (NOT cardiac arrest) child aged less than 5 years
Administer IV boluses as per paediatric tables
Adrenaline IV cardiac arrest 5 kg child (less than 1 year)
0.05 mg or 0.5 ml of solution (50 mcg)
Adrenaline IV cardiac arrest child drawing up
1 mg adrenaline in 10 ml syringe diluted to 10 ml solution
Adrenaline IV cardiac arrest child 10 kg (1 year)
0.1 mg or 1 ml of solution (100 mcg)
