Cardiac Glycosides:
Indicated for the tx of HF and dysrhythmias.
Must monitor levels.
Digoxin (Lanoxin, Digitek)
Phosphodiesterase Inhibitors: Indicated for the short-term management of HF.

Inamrinone (Inocor)
Direct Vasodilators:
Indicated for acute tx of HF in pts with dyspnea at rest and/or minimal activity
Nesiritide (Natrecor)
Vasodilator:
Indicated tx of stable and unstable angina.
Rapid acting forms are indicated for the management of acute angina episodes and long acting forms are used for the prevention of angina attacks.
Nitroglycerin (Nitro-Bid)
Isosorbide (Isordi)
Beta Blockers:
indicated tx of angina, particularly angina caused by exercise. Mainstay tx for the management of HTN, cardiac dysrhythmias and MI.
Unlabled uses: migraines, tachycardia associated with stage fright!

Propanolol (Inderal)
Calcium Channel Blocker:
Indicated for management of angina, HTN and dysrhythmias. Also indicated for migraines and Raynaud’s disease.
Amlodipine (Norvasc)
Diltiazem (Cardizem)
Ranolazine (Ranexa)
Alpha Adernergic Agonists:
Antihypertensive. Management of opiod withdrawal.
Clonidine (Catapres)
Methyldopa (Aldomet)
ACE Inhibitors:
Indicated for HTN, MI, and HF.
Captopril (Capoten) Enalapril (Vasotec) Lisinopril (Zestril, Prinivil) Moexpril (Univasc) Ramipril (Altace)
Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBS):
Antihypertensive, adjunctive therapy for HF.
