How do carbohydrates help you to lose weight?
Because they make you feel full as they add bulk to the diet so you don’t need to eat as much. However the excess is stored as fat

What is the function if dietary fibre in the diet?
To prevent constipation
Prevents bowel problems
Lowers cholesterol
Absorbs moisture and adds bulk to the diet and keeps farces soft
