Describe the process that a capacitor undergoes when it gets charged

A

When switch is closed, there is a max current and the capacitor charges up. The p.d. across the capacitor increases from 0
After time, the capacitor is fully charged, the current in the circuit is 0, the p.d. of the resistor is 0
