How should cannabis be transported?
No person shall drive or have the care or control of a vehicle or boat, whether or not it’s in motion while any cannabis is in the vehicle.
Must be in its original packaging and has not been open
Is packaged in baggage and not readily available to any person
Vehicle or boat that are residence must need?
Motor vehicle- permanent sleeping accommodation and permanent cooking facilities, while parked, off a highway and is being used a residence
Boat- permanent sleeping accommodation and permanent cooking and sanitary facilities, other than a boat used to carry passengers for hire, while the boat is anchored or docked or on land being used a residence
When may an officer search vehicle or boat?
On RG to believe that cannabis is being contained in contravention, may at anytime without warrant enter and search, along with any person found in it

What is the arrest authority under the CCA?
A police officer who finds apparently in contravention of this act and refuses to give name and address or believes name and address is false may arrest without warrant
What is obstruction?
No person shall hinder, obstruct or interfere with, or attempt to hinder, obstruct, or interfere with a police or person designated who is acting under this act
