- bleeding
- mucositis
- taste loss/ change

BONE MARROW THERAPY
- immunosuppression
- bleeding
- GVHD
- secondary malignancies
BISPHOS THERAPY
- MRONJ
presentation of mucositis & mx
- appears 3-15 days after chemo/radio
- usually on non keratinized mucosa
MX:
- good OH
- frequent use of bland, non medicated, non alcoholic mouthrinses (eg saline, bicarb mouthrinse! chx not recommended)
- soft, bland diet
- oral cooling with ice water, ice chips in mouth
- stop denture use until mucositis resolves
