If gland forming then mucin! :)
P63
Squamous cell carcinoma
Thyroid transcription factor (TTF-1)
Adenocarcinoma and small cell
Treatment for small cell vs. non-small cell
Small cell : chemo (works v. well but only for short time :( )
Non small cell: surgery
K-ras mutation associated with?
Adenocarcinoma (smoking related)
- East Asia = adenocarcinoma in NOT smoking related
- EGFR mutation
Gefitinib
Tyrosine kinase inhibitor
-can work in EGFR mutation adenocarcinoma (non-smokers)
Neuroendocrine neoplasm of low malignancy?
Carcinoid
Adenoid cystic carcinoma
Mucoepidermoid carcinoma

Cavitates, with central necrosis
Squamous cell carcinoma (most common type)
Keratinising
