Estate Bottled?
100% from the same vintage
Land must be owned or controlled by the labeling winery.
Must be produced & bottled at the labeling winery, and from the same GI as the labeling winery.
(must be smaller than BC)
If fortified, the distillation of the fortifying spirit must take place at the labeling winery.
What are the rules for Regional labeling in Ontario?
- *Regional VQA** (Ontario)
- 100% of grapes must be grown there.
- *Viticulural Area VQA**
- (Niagara Peninsula; Lake Erie North Shore; or Prince Edward County)*
- 85% of grapes must be grown there.
- *Sub-VQA** (eg: Twenty Mile Bench)
