Tripod socket
Allows the camera to be attached to a tripod
Accessory shoe
Top metal portion of camera where additional flash is placed
Self timer
Lever that allows the camera to take a picture without holding the camera
Film speed dial
Sets the camera to the speed of the film
Shutter speed dial
Determines the speed of the shutter
Film rewind release button
Release the film from the take up spool do that the film could be wound into its original cassette
Frame counter
Keeps track of how many exposers have been taken in a film
Shutter release buttons
Pushed the shutter open to allow light through the camera
Film advance lever
Connected to the take up spool. This lever is turned away from camera and advances the loaded film from the cassette to the film take-up-spool
Film take-up-spool
Where the end of the film hooks on to wind up the film as each exposure is taken
Sprocket wheel
Helps guide the film into the film take-up spool
Shutter curtain
Flaps of thin metal that open and close to allow light through the camera and expose the film
Film rewind shaft
Helps hold the film cassette in place inside the film chamber
Film chamber
Area where the film cassette is placed
Film rewind crank / knob
Thin metal lever that is pulled up with thumb and it’s turned in a circle to rotate the film cassette after all frames are exposed, when pulled up with knob, it also opens the camera back
