A device that lets in light beams into the camera.
Colour Filter Array
Is an array or mosaic of red, green, and blue filters that capture colours in the image.
Image Sensor
Is a sensor that detects the information used to make up an image.
Digital Image Processing
Is the use of computer algorithms to perform image processing on digital images.
Buffer
This is where it temporarily stores the data before going into storage.
Data Storage
The transfer of digital files as data into storage.

The amount of lightness or darkness in the photo.

How long the camera lens is open for

The amount of light let through the camera lens
Exposure
Exposure is made up of ISO, aperture and, shutter speed. It is the overall darkness and brightness of a photo.
Depth of Field
Refers to the distance between the nearest and farthest object that appears sharp in an image.
Filter Bubble
The digital isolation that can occur when websites make use of algorithms to selectively assume the information a user would want to see, and then give information to the user according to this assumption
Digital Footprint
The information about a particular person that exists on the Internet as a result of their online activity.
