When do we use the Present Perfect?
The Present Perfect is used when speaking about an event that had a place in the past but still has relevance in the present.
This means that the Present Perfect can be used to relate something past that has continuity in the present.

How do we use “wish” in a subjective context?
We use it as a structure using past tenses to express that something is unreal or impossible to complete.
-I wish I lived in Mexico City
-I wish the pollution in the city weren’t a factor for not moving there soon.
When is the structure “I wish + Past Perfect + V3 “ necessary?
This structure is used when we desire to have done something about a past event when the possibility was still an option.
For example, “I wish she had eaten anything before we went off of the house”
