God chooses the “elect,” those who will go to Heaven, before the beginning of time. Despite their actions during their human lifetime, they cannot change that decision.

Jesus’ death and resurrection happened for the elect ONLY- only the elect would be saved and brought up to the pearly gates of Heaven.

IRRESISTIBLE GRACE

Man can’t go against God’s destination for them- The damned can’t reach Heaven, and the elect can’t opt out of going to Heaven.

Once a human is determined as an elect by God, they can’t become “unelected-“ They can’t fall from the elect status.
