Calm: Desdemona says this realising she is torn between Othello and Brabantio. Displays how women are expected to show total obedience however ‘d’ sounds display assertiveness, wealth and intelligence.

Storm: Said to Emilia and Iago and how she still clings to the belief that she can convince him of her innocence.

Calm: Iago comfortable in his plotting

Storm: Iago explains his motivation - he claims Othello had an affair with Emilia.

Storm: Cassio has shame and sadness after Othello has stripped him of his position. Lost his image - Cassio placing value on is honour and reputation.
