Cruise FL (thousands of feet) x 3 + 10

e.g. Cruise FL350 - 35x3 + 10 = 115NM from TOD to destination

Wind Additive for VFLY (when gusty)

A

Wind additive = Half steady wind + [gust factor]

(Up to a maximum of 15)

[Gust factor = Gust wind - Steady wind]

e.g. VREF = 140 and wind is 250/12G26

6+14=20 (this is greater than 15),
so VFLY = 140+15 = 155kts
