Definition: A big group of people at a public event.
Example:
The audience gave a standing ovation to the orchestra.
“There is already a HUGE audience at the pay and it’s only 10 minutes since I got here.”
cacophony
Definition: Harsh discordance of sound; dissonance. (noun)
Example:
The barking dogs, car alarms, and sirens made up the cacophony of the city.
A cacophony of hoots, cackles, and wails.
audible
Definition: (adj) Able to be heard.
Ultrasound can be heard by dogs, but not audible to humans.
Example:
I turned the volume of my phone up so that it would be audible over the loud music of the party.
xylophone
Definition:
Noun – A musical instrument played by striking a row of metal bars of different lengths with one or more small wooden or plastic mallets
Example:
She could hear her baby sister banging away on the xylophone.
In music, we play a lot of instruments, but the xylophone is my favorite.

Definition: (noun) given to or characterized by fanciful, not presently workable, or unpractical ideas
Being visionary is bad.
Example:
Steve Jobs’s futuristic thinking and creativity made him the most well-known visionary of our time.

He was amazed when he saw the vista of Niagra Falls.
Example:
We enjoyed the beautiful vista of the mountains through the front window of the cottage.

Definition:
(noun) A record player.
Example:
We listened to some old records on the phonograph.
I used a phonograph and listened to music and said, “I WANT ROCK GIME ROCK MUSIC!” And then it played music by Sus Rock.

Definition:
form a mental image of; imagine.
Example:
Even though I had never been there, I could visualize the crystal blue beaches of Hawaii in my mind.

Example:

Examples:

Everybody in my house was very somber as it’s almost the new year.

lying stretched out on the ground with one’s face downward.
Examples:
The kid prostrated on the ground.
When the baby ate the pill, he fell prostrate on the ground. He woke up like, “WOAH WHAT HAPPENED!?”.

Definition: (adj.)
(especially of something offered or discharged) exuberantly plentiful; abundant.
Examples:
The banker profusely apologized for the money mistake.
The mommy profusely apologized to the police for the dead baby.
dehydrate
Definition:
Cause (a person or their body) to lose a large amount of water.
Examples:
Running a marathon without drinking water will likely dehydrate a runner.
“The heat dehydrated us even when we stood still.”
hydroelectric
Definition:
Relating to or denoting the generation of electricity using flower water to drive a turbine that powers a generator.
Examples:
Water that is released from the Bonneville Dam turns many turbines, large wheels, and makes hydroelectric energy.
The scientists used hydroelectricity to help power the city after the power outage.

Examples:

Examples:

Examples:

Seals and whales are marine animals.

Examples:
We looked out at the marina, watching the sailboats come and go.

Examples:
