  • Photo Port-au-Prince, the capital city was affected badly

Emergency aid

A
  1. Short-term aid to time from around the world for example 61 people from the UK Fire service search and rescue team
  2. Emergency field hospitals were set up on the shore for example Argentin apples emergency hospital
  3. The USNS comfort (Maybe floating hospital ship) was moored close the coast and took on-board up to 500 winded people at one time
  4. Water sanitation equipment and body bags were used up to try and stop the spread of disease
