What is the definition of data?
A
Raw facts and figures that has not been processed yet, means without meaning.
It has no meaning
can be qualitative or quantitative
can be made up of letters, symbols, numbers.

A
Information is data that has been processed in a way that makes it meaningful and useful. For example, if the data is just a list of temperatures, the information might be the average temperature for the week, which tells you about the weather.
