Q

What are the two reasons a Primary officer would reset the RPM?

A

Following an alert. This will silence the alarm and prepare for the next vehicle. Following an “Instrument Failure”, Some instrument failure indications will reset. For example, if the failure was caused by a sensor blockage and the blockage has been removed, the RPM will usually reset

A

-While the sensor is blocked (by a vehicle, debris etc.) * Instrument Failure. Some instrument failure indications will not reset, but they may rebaot. Some instrument failure indications will not allow a reboot. They must be reported to the Integrated Logistics Branch (ILB) help desk (Formerly the Enforcement Technology Program ETP) Help Desk)
