Simultaneously
1. Power Levers - IDLE
2. Maximum Braking - APPLY
3. Speed Brakes - EXTEND
4. Thrust Reversers - AS REQUIRED (TO ENSURE AIRCRAFT DOES NOT DEPART END OF RUNWAY)
Engine Failure/Fire after V1
- Directional Control - MAINTAIN
- Vr Speed - ROTATE
- Airspeed- MAINTAIN V2 TO V2+10 KCAS
- Landing Gear - UP
- Climb - 1,500 FT AGL OR CLEAR OF OBSTACLES
Emergency Descent
- AP - DISCONNECT
- Power Levers - IDLE
- Speed Brake - EXTEND
- Initial Pitch Attitude 8-10 Deg Nose Down
- Airspeed - MAINTAIN Vmo/Mmo
Rapid Decompression
- Crew Oxygen Masks - DON
- Emergency Descent - COMMENCE
Autopilot or Autothrottle Uncommanded Disconnect
Engine Exceedance
- Power Levers - RETARD
- TGT/LP/HP Indications - CHECK
If Exceedance Cannot Be Recovered, or Other Engine Parameters Are Not Normal
- Affected Engine - SHUTDOWN
Overspeed
Stall Protection/Stall Warning Activation
Flight Control Jam - Aileron
- A/P - DISCONNECT
- Speed Brake - RETRACT
- Rudder - PUSH OPPOSITE OF ROLLING MOMENT
- Yoke - BOTH PILOTS HOLD FIRMLY
- Aileron DISC Handle - PULL
Total Loss of Brakes
- Maximum Reverse Thrust - APPLY
- Brakes- RELEASE
- Anti-Skid - OFF
- Brakes- APPLY MAX 400 PSI BRAKE PRESSURE
Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) Alert
- AP/AT - DISCONNECT
- Power- MAX
- Pitch Attitude - RAISE 3-4 DEG PER SECOND
- Speed Brakes - RETRACT
- Pitch Attitude - MAINTAIN V2 TO Vref
- Flaps/Gear - DO NOT RETRACT UNTIL SAFE ALTITUDE IS REACHED
Windshear Alert
- AP/AT - DISCONNECT
- Power- MAX
- Pitch Attitude - RAISE 3-4 DEG PER SECOND
- Speed Brakes - RETRACT
- Pitch Attitude - MAINTAIN V2 TO Vref
- Flaps/Gear - DO NOT RETRACT UNTIL SAFE ALTITUDE IS REACHED
Traffic and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) Alert
- AP/AT - DISCONNECT
- MANUALLY FOLLOW TCAS VERTICAL GUIDANCE
Engine Fire in Flight
- Affected Engine - IDENTIFY
- Power Lever (Affected Engine) - IDLE
- Fuel Control - OFF
- Fire Handle - PULL
- Fire Handle - ROTATE OUTBOARD
APU Fire
- APU Master Switch - OFF
- APU Fire Extinguisher - DEPRESS
- APU Fire Indicator - MONITOR
If Indications No Longer Exist
- APU Fire Test - DEPRESS
Flight Control Jam - Elevator (Takeoff)
- Airspeed - MAXIMUM V2+10 KIAS
- Yoke - BOTH PILOTS HOLD FIRMLY
- Elevator DISC Handle - PULL
Flight Control Jam - Elevator (En Route)
- AP - DISCONNECT
- Configuration / Airspeed - MAINTAIN
- Yoke - BOTH PILOTS HOLD FIRMLY
- Elevator DISC Handle - PULL
Flight Control Jam - Rudder
- AP - Disconnect
- Power Lever - ADVANCE TO COUNTERACT YAW
- Aileron Trim - INPUT TO COUNTERACT YAW
Flight Control Jam - Spoilers
- Configuration / Airspeed - MAINTAIN
- Aileron and/or Rudder Trim - USE AS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN LEVEL FLIGHT
