What does biofeedback aim to do?
A
Aims to give the stressed person a greater awareness of their body’s physical and mental processes using electronic monitoring.

- It uses technology to measure body functions, such as (brain waves and heart rate).
- The measures change when the body is faced with stress triggers.
- When physiological measure reaches a certain level, an alarm is displayed.
- The person then uses relaxation strategies to reduce effects of stress.
