Aircraft:played key role as mobile artillery,providing mobility and offenses

Development in transport mean defenders became less important.
Motorized transport was introduced
Aircraft parachutes:put troops behind enemy lines,transported enemies quickly
Air support:important as allies created ‘cab rank’ system allowing infantry to call quick air strikes to weaken resistance
