The particles are random arranged, they are close and the move around each other
What is the arrangement and movement of particles in the gas state?
The particles are randomly arranged, they are are far apart and move quickly in all directions
Why can you not compress a substance in its solid or liquid state?
Because there is no space for the particles to move into
Why can’t a substance in solid state flow?
Because it’s particle vibrate around fixed positions and cannot move from place to place
