They are tiny openings on a plant’s leaves.

A
To help the the plant breathe by opening and closing to take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

A
Transpiration (water loss)

A
The animals that feed off the extinct organism will suffer and possibly go endangered. The organisms that are a food source to the extinct organism will thrive.
