a refraction conducted only for the purpose of assessing visual acuity, by using an automated refraction system comprised of one or more computerized components, including an autorefractor or autophoropter or a lensometer, or a similar device

excluding complete ready-to-wear eyeglasses not designed or offered for use by a named individual
