It helps identify the catheters. (This is an optional component of a catheter.)
On the PIU, what is the GREEN port used for?
GREEN= Ultrasound- mapping heart
What part of the cardo 3 has the generator port? Where is it located?
PIU, located on the top left.
What port is used for the ablation catheters on the PIU?
The RED port. (burning)
What are the ECG patches used for and what port is used?
recoding system for heart signals. Largest port on PIU.
What are the small ports at the top of PIU for?
Pacing ports
What are the blue and yellow ports on the PIU used for?
Blue/ Yellow = mapping catheters
For the SmartAblate System, where does the grounding pad go on the patient?
on a long muscle- ideally on the thigh above the knee
What are the FOUR accessories for the SmartAblate System?
- Foot petal
- Generator
- Pump
- Remote
What kind of systems have a R in the serial number?
RMT system (magnet for ablating catheters)
On the SmartAblate System what serial number do you use for a issue with the foot petal?
generator serial number
How long does the generator need to warm up for the SmartAblate System?
15 mins.
On the SmartAblate System, which accessory does NOT use the generator serial number?
The pump, it has it’s own serial number.
