BVFP or posterior glottic stenosis w/ or w/o CA joint fixation

Etiology of BVFP
A
- Iatrogenic 55.5-83% (mostly thyroid)
- Malignancy (esophageal or bronchogenic)
- Neurologic (extensive DDx, neurology c/s often needed)
- Traumatic
- Idiopathic (rare in contrast to UVFP)

What is the presenting complaint of BVFP
A
SOB or stridor often w/ normal voice

A
Surgical hx (neck, chest, neurosurgical)
