Etiology of BVFP

A
  • Iatrogenic 55.5-83% (mostly thyroid)
  • Malignancy (esophageal or bronchogenic)
  • Neurologic (extensive DDx, neurology c/s often needed)
  • Traumatic
  • Idiopathic (rare in contrast to UVFP)
