Liturgical worship- Follows a routine.
What is Non- Liturgical worship?
Non- liturgical worship- Doesn’t folloe a routine.
What is Charismatic worship?
Charismatic worship- informal: spirit inspired.
What is Private worship?
Private worship- worshipping alone.
Give an example of a set prayer?
The Lord’s Prayer.
Give 5 things thet prayer is used for?
Thanksgiving, adoration, confession, petition, intercession.
What is a sacrament?
An outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace.
How many sacraments do protestants have?
2- Baptism, the eucharist.
How many sacraments do RC (Roman Catholic) and Orthodox churces have?
7- Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Marriage, Holy Orders, Anointing of the Sick.
Why do Christians carry out Baptism?
Because Jesus told his diciples to do so: , Jesus told his disciples to: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”.
Why do Christians carry out The Eucharist?
To celebrte Jesus’ life- The bread is his body, and the wine is his blood.
How does the Curch help the local community/
One way in which Christians out their faith into action is through food banks and street pastors whom are from Churches.
