The result of the search is forwarded to the buyer’s solicitor in the form of an official search certificate

This method is the same as completion in person, but the buyer’s solicitor instructs a representative from another firm to attend on their behalf.

A

The money is sent from the buyer’s solicitor to the seller’s solicitor. The seller’s solicitor will then check the correct money has arrived and post out the deeds and documents to the buyer’s solicitor.

This is the most common method.
