What is the first step ?
A
Place the Bunsen burner on the heatproof mat.

What is the second step ?
A
Check that the gas tap is in the ‘off’ position.

What is the third step ?
A
Connect the rubber hose to the gas pipe.

What is the forth step ?
A
Close the air hole of the Bunsen burner collar.

What is the fifth step ?
A
Light a match and hold it a few cm above the barrel.

What is the sixth step ?
A
Turn on the gas tap and a yellow flame will appear.

What is the seventh step ?
A
Adjust the flame by moving the collar until the air hole is open and a blue flame appears.

What is the last step ?
A
Remember to close the collar to return the flame to yellow when the Bunsen burner is not in use.
