Biodiverse Roof Systems (brown roof system)
Brown Roof System - recreates the ‘brown field’ site that existed before the building was constructed. It is left to self-seed with plants, via wind or bird, and self-populate with wildlife that was displaced by the build.

Pile Foundations
Pile foundations are deep foundations. They are formed by long, slender, columnar elements typically made from steel or reinforced concrete, or sometimes timber. A foundation is described as ‘piled’ when its depth is more than three times its breadth
Stud walls
an interior wall consisting of a frame of upright timbers to which laths and plasterboard are attached.
