A

Absolute means requirements must be met regardless of cost or other implications unless a qualifying termis added, such as whenever reasonably practicable.
Reasonably practicable means that you are required to consider risks involved in undertaking a particular work activity. However if risks are minimal and costs or technical difficulty of eliminating the risks are high, it might not be reasonably practicable to do so.

What is the purpose of toolbox and inductions to health and safety in site.

A

An induction at site provides information about the site, its potential hazards and procedures that are in place to control the risks. Everyone who attends induction is required to sign a register which is kept in records and ensure that you understand your duties. A toolbox talk is short talk often on safety topics given by the site manager or safety officer during the induction before new personnel enter the site. it may also be given during lunch break to increase awareness of particular hazards on site and how to minimize or control them. As with inductions a record of attendees to all toolbox talks should be kept.
