What is the birth of the Buddha ?
Maya dreamt of a white elephant coming down from the sky and entering her womb , shortly after this she became pregnant.
What appeared while she was giving birth ?
A white elephant
What happened after the birth ?
When the Buddha would walk lotus leafs would appear .
What is the Buddhas ascetic life ?
He saw an ascetic man and wanted to become one himself after he realised that he would suddenly die and so would the rest if his family . So there for he wanted to have as little as possible and no indulgences at all . He starved himself for 6 years and would not stop until he reached enlightenment so he carried on eating 3 sesame seeds a day .
What are the for sights the Buddha saw before he became an ascetic ?
1sr sight he saw a old man and was shocked
2nd sight he saw a sick man and realised death and diseases is a reality
3rd sight he realised death was a reality so he was shocked since he thought he would live forever
4th sight he saw a holy man
What does ascetic mean ?
It means someone who appreciates the basic things and does not indulge. They eat as little as possible .
What was the way that the Buddha followed when he reached enlightenment ?
Ascetic. “The middle way”. Prince

There was a beautiful women who prayed for a husband son and was told to go to. Banyan tree and pray to the tree gods . Her dream came true . And then one day she made a special type of rice which she gave to the Buddha which saved him from death . Then the Buddha found the middle way and reached enlightenment .
What is the middle way ?
You can live on basic things and don’t indulge in anything because you believe you can live without those things . It was also when the bow went upstream to decide on wether he was a Buddha .
What are the three watches ?
1 - siddartha gained knowledge of all previous life’s
2- He relished the con pcept of samsara ( you are born and you live , you die . A person is reborn depending on their karma .
3- he came to understand why suffering happens and how to come over it . Which is the middle way
What a fe the three jewels ?

His philosophy was not from his direct experience it is from practice however its nothing to worship. “ it is like a raft used to cross a river , only a fool would carry the raft around after he had reached the others hire of liberation .

What is the Anatta?
- Nothing stays the same and has no permanent setting
- Anatta means no self
What is Anica?
It means impermanence
What does the dukkah mean
It means suffering and dissatisfaction

The six relms are the things you might change into in your after life . If you get could karma then there for you can get changed into something good but if you have bad karma then you turn into something bad .
