Mediation
Action /practice of focusing ones mind for a period of time.
Enlightenment
When a Buddhist finds the truth about life and stops being reborn because they’ve reached Nirvana.
Dhamma
Teachings of the Buddha + the path to enlightenment.
Dependent arising
Express the Buddhist vision of the nature of reality( nothing is permanent).
Samsara
Dependent arising as applied to birth, death and rebirth of beings.
Kamma
Law of kamma: places the responsibility of his/her life on the individual.
Nibbana
State of complete enlightenment, happiness, peace and liberation. Goal of a Buddhist
